I've been saying for the longest time they need modding like Unturned lets you do. With that game you can import literally anything. I ran a server with custom guns, clips, items, vehicles. Imagine that ability in Rust. You'd have workshop people filling in the gaps and making stuff like world models for all the Facepunch neglected potato sack items, or you could add in new items (like actually money for your econ system).
